Born into humble beginnings, my childhood taught me resilience from an early age. Growing up in a single-wide trailer with modest means, I learned the value of hard work and determination. These formative years shaped my character and instilled in me the drive to create a different future for myself.
In 1994, seeking opportunity and direction, I enlisted in the United States Army. Little did I know this decision would become a cornerstone of my life’s journey, teaching me discipline, leadership, and the priceless value of camaraderie.
Building a Family
The most significant chapter of my life began in 1995 when I married my wife, Heather. Though we started with little more than love—sleeping on a cold tile floor with just pillows and a blanket—we were building the foundation of something beautiful. Looking back, those humble beginnings were some of our most treasured memories.

Professional Transformation
After earning my MBA in 2013, I faced the uncertainty of what would come next. That’s when I learned about network marketing / direct sales. I knew if I wanted something different, I had to start thinking differently. I joined my first company in 2015, and by 2018, I was a 7-figure earner.
What began as an uncertain venture blossomed into a thriving international business that not only provided financial freedom but also aligned with my passion for helping others. Meanwhile, Heather’s corporate career flourished as she helped scale a direct selling company from zero to $500 million in annual revenue.
The Call to Adventure
In 2022, we realized something. As empty nesters in our massive home on 7 acres, we found ourselves using only a fraction of our space. One day, gazing out at our property, Heather asked the question that would change everything: “Why are we doing this?”
We reflected on our parents and grandparents who had dreamed of traveling but never got the chance. We thought about all the material possessions we had accumulated that held no meaningful value. We recognized that true wealth wasn’t in our possessions, but in our experiences and the memories we create.
Embracing a New Lifestyle
In April 2022, we took the bold step of selling 98% of our belongings and our home to embark on a full-time RV lifestyle. We traded our spacious house for a 45′ Newmar Mountain Aire diesel pusher—our new home on wheels, with our three dogs as travel companions.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. It meant leaving behind comfort and familiarity for uncertainty and adventure. But, it also meant the freedom to work from anywhere, connect with people across the country, and live intentionally.
As Oscar Wilde said, “I don’t want to earn my living, I want to live.” This philosophy now guides our journey as we collect experiences instead of things.
Looking Forward
Today, Heather and I continue to build our direct selling business while traveling in our motorhome. We’re “Just Wheeling It,” embracing each new destination and the people we meet along the way. One day, we may establish a smaller home base, but for now, we’re savoring the freedom of the open road.
My mission remains clear: to help others achieve greater financial independence and quality of life, whether through business opportunities or inspiring them to pursue their dreams. After nearly three decades of marriage, multiple military deployments, raising three sons, and now welcoming four grandchildren, our greatest achievement remains our family and the legacy of living authentically that we hope to leave behind.
This journey has taught us that sometimes, living with less allows you to experience so much more.
